You all have been a wonderful class, and it shows. You've earned it. You've done a lot of great work; the research papers were a pleasure to read.

1. I learned all of the many different types of electronic media serves as journals and diaries. It also heloed me to become more open with my writing helping me to better relate to my audience.

2.I learned about the seemingly hidden world of blogging.

3. I will probably take it down, and maybe one day in the future I might pick it back up again.

1) What was the most valuable aspect of taking this course?
This class taught me how to write towards an audience and not just on a research level. My writing is a lot more free now and this could help me in the future, especially if i pursue journalism in any way.

2) What was the most interesting thing you learned this semester?
I think that the most interesting thing we did this semester was either read Joe's book or go to the special collections library. Joe's book was extremely funny and i really enjoyed reading it. At special collections they had those WWII journals and that was really cool to see how they wrote in the past.

3) What do you see in the future for your blog? (Will it continue? Will you delete it? etc.)
Well i wont delete my journal, but i probably wont write in it either. On those boring days when i have nothing better to do, i will probably find my way back on here to see what everyone else is up to. And i may make an occasional blog, but i wouldnt count on it.

What was the most valuable aspect of taking this course?
I think the most valuable aspect of this course was how much it advanced my computer/ technology knowledge. So many things these days are based around some form of technology. Prior to taking this course, if someone said the "T" word I would run the other way. This course, however, has definitely made me feel more comfortable.

What was the most interesting thing you learned this semester?
I do not know if this is the most interest, but it is definitely the most helpful. I have learned about Google scholar. I probably used this search engine at least once a week, and I used it to find information for almost all of my classes. It just goes to show you how much valid information is on the internet.

What do you see in the future for your blog? (Will it continue? Will you delete it? etc.)
I have definitely enjoyed having my blog this semester. It was very beneficial in relieving stress. When I used to get upset or stressed throughout the day, I would blog about it. This usually made me feel much better. I do not know that I will blog in my journal as frequently as we did for this class, but I do not think I will delete it. It is almost a comfort factor, because I know no matter what, my blog is always there to "listen." And it never talks back!

It has been a pleasure being in this class! I wish everyone good luck on finals! Enjoy your summer break!

1) What was the most valuable aspect of taking this course?
I definitely learned how to write better concise writing. I now know how to put a lot of my personality into a short space using different kinds of words and phrases that are fairly unique to me.

2) What was the most interesting thing you learned this semester?
I really liked learning about the blogs regarding the tragedies. There really is something about those kinds of things that attract me to them. It was an interesting take on something tragic that all of us are familiar with.

3) What do you see in the future for your blog? (Will it continue? Will you delete it? etc.)
I think that I will still keep my blog. I will write in it every once in a while, but not extremely often. I hope that other people write in theirs sometimes!

What was the most valuable aspect of taking this course?

The most valuable aspect of this course was how enjoyable it was. I was able to work on my writing style and grammar while doing casual blogging. I was able to write about what I wanted to and when. Well not quite when but i chose when in the week i was going to blog.

What was the most interesting thing you learned this semester?

The most interesting thing i learned was how fun blogging can be. Before i had this perception of bloggers just being internet nerds, but i found out that all sorts of people blog. Blogging can be used as an outlet for emotions. People are able to write about whatever they want and anyone can comment on it. I always enjoyed commented and recieveing them.

What do you see in the future for your blog? (Will it continue? Will you delete it? etc.)

I can see myself blogging in the future but not as frequent as I had to do for the class. I will not delete this blog, but i definately will try to find a new title for my blog. "A Whisper" really isnt working for me...its kinda weird.

1) What was the most valuable aspect of taking this course? The most valuable aspect of taking this course was learning what exactly a blog was and writing in it. I had so much fun doing it, that I'll keep my blog on livejournal and continue to write.
2) What was the most interesting thing you learned this semester? The most interesting thing that I've learned this semester is that there were so many books about weblogs. I had no idea what they were and this class taught me to open up and expand a little more.
3) What do you see in the future for your blog? (Will it continue? Will you delete it? etc.) As I said in the first question, I will continue to write in my blog whenever I get the time.

1. What was the most valuable aspect of taking this course?
The most valuable aspect of this course was getting to know technolgy better. Although I have been keeping an online journal to keep in touch with my friends I am more aware now of the differences between being a blogger and an online journaler and also on doing it safely. I think I am better prepared for when I am reading a friend's journal that I need to think before I type, because I use to just put all my thoughts out there. That probably wasn't the best thing to do and now when people do that (which one of my friend's did have a conservative Christian post a message that was "flaming" with anger recently) I don't like that they don't know how to express themselves in a more polite manner. Now I know I am an online journaler. I also thought learning about the special collections and paper diaries versus online journals was not only valuable but interesting. Having a course that strictly deals with that comparison would be a really good class.

2.What was the most interesting thing you learned this semester?
As I said in the above paragraph the most interesting thing I learned this semester was when we did the paper versus online journal writing. I really like online journaling because it is very convenient, but there was something really powerful about going to special collections and physically holding the book that had been written in so long ago. I also thought learning about my fellow classmates and how they have felt at college and what they have experienced at college has been interesting. College is suppose to be about learning to communicate in the world around you, but to do it in a respectful way. I think everyone has done that and also been able to share their thoughts.

3.What do you see in the future for your blog?
For my class blog I don't really see much of a future. Don't get me wrong I like doing the online journaling but I only have one friend outside of this class that has Livejournal. Since I do comment on the one friend's Livejournal I will not shut the account down, but I probably will not write entries in it. I do, however, plan to continue my outside class blog so I can stay in touch with my from home, so I will still be blogging since it is a nice way to tell them what I am doing without calling.

I have really enjoyed reading everyone's blog entries this semester. Good luck on finals.

Ms. D- are we meeting on Friday May 5th to turn in the papers?
